Backstory:
Misty Insect was formed in the quirky city of Austin, Texas in 2012, by childhood friends, Adam Johnson and Ethan Harper. The duo, who spent their teenage years exploring music, started off by playing in local pubs, breweries, and private parties. Their unique sound, which was a blend of their eclectic influences, quickly caught the attention of Austin’s vibrant music community. In 2014, they were joined by drummer Natalie Carter, who brought an edgy energy that matched perfectly with Adam and Ethan’s style. The addition of Natalie completed the group, and since then, it has been a wild ride of musical experimentation, passionate performances, and increasing recognition.
