Backstory:
Born out of the spirit of rebellion and fueled by their love for the iconic music eras of the ’70s and ’80s, Classic Tool was conceived in the bustling city of Seattle in 2005. It was founded by four friends – Stan Mitchell, Terry Reed, Marcus Gibson, and Jimmy Dean, who started playing together in their college dorm room. Their shared admiration for classic rock bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and The Beatles was the catalyst that led them to form their own band. Their journey began as a college band, earning them a renowned reputation in the local music scenes, and eventually skyrocketed them to national fame.
The band’s music often reflected their shared experiences, relationships, and the struggles of daily life, making them relatable to a wide spectrum of audience. Their on-stage energy coupled with the nostalgia-inducing harmonies made them a fan-favorite, attributing to their rapid ascent in the music industry.
