Backstory:
Impartial Ball was formed in the quiet coastal town of Normandy, Maine, by childhood friends and music lovers, Oliver Peters and Kyle Baxter. Oliver on the drums and Kyle on the bass guitar, the duo started creating their unique sound in the basement of Oliver’s house, drawing inspirations from their mundane life and the pacifying sounds of the ocean. The duo later expanded to a quartet with the addition of guitarist Hannah Mitchell and vocalist Ian Rogers, and thus the Impartial Ball we know today was born. They started off by performing in local cafes and soon began to capture the attention of people all over town. The band’s success did not happen overnight. They released several EP’s and performed at numerous gigs before they eventually signed a record deal.

Title:
“Silent Echoes”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am G C
Silent echoes in the dark,
F Am
Riding waves of a lonely ark.
Am G C
Drifting through the endless sea,
F Am
Sailing towards eternity.
(Chorus)
G C Am
Oh, Silent Echoes, tell me your tales,
F Am
Of haunted dreams and lost trails.
G C Am
Under the moon’s melancholic light,
F Am
We dance in the shadows of the night.
(Verse 2)
Am G C
In your silence, I found my roar,
F Am
A song I’d never sung before.
Am G C
In your echoes, I found my truth,
F Am
A story of my misspent youth.
(Chorus)
G C Am
Oh, Silent Echoes, tell me your tales,
F Am
Of haunted dreams and lost trails.
G C Am
Under the moon’s melancholic light,
F Am
We dance in the shadows of the night.
Fan’s Testimonial:
“Impartial Ball’s biggest fan must be young Emily Summers. Emily, a music major herself, fell in love with Impartial Ball’s music when she first heard their song ‘Silent Echoes’. Emily says, “Their music speaks directly to my soul. It’s like the band understands exactly what I’m going through and transcribes it into their songs. The lyrics are beautifully poetic and the raw, edgy guitar riffs combined with the soul-striking bass and drums just take their music to a whole different level.” Emily has attended all their local gigs and even organized a fan club to support the band.”
