Backstory:
Feisty Rake was formed in the sleepy town of Belmont, Massachusetts, in the early 2000s. Originally, it was just a fun after-school activity for four childhood friends – Joey, Elliot, Fredrick, and Maria – to escape the monotony of their suburban lives. Using their garage as a rehearsal space, these four quickly realized their shared passion for music and their unique synergy as a band. They assumed the name ‘Feisty Rake,’ inspired by an inside joke from one of their impromptu jam sessions. With Joey on vocals and guitar, Elliot on bass, Fredrick on drums, and Maria on keyboards, Feisty Rake was ready to make some noise.

The band started playing at local bars and small festivals, slowly making a name for themselves in the local music scene. Their charismatic performances and resonating lyrics were a breath of fresh air, drawing crowds from all around Belmont and eventually, the entire state. In 2008, they were noticed by a renowned music producer, who offered them a record deal. From then on, Feisty Rake went from being a small-town band to a national sensation.
