[G]Long train runnin’, [D]heartache in tow,
[Em]Souvenirs of love, [C]nowhere to go.
[G]Empty bottles line the [D]dashboard display,
[Em]Each one a memory [C]of better days.

[G]Train track heartaches, [D]whistle in the wind,
[Em]Tell me, darling, [C]will I see you again?
[G]Riding the rails on a [D]lonely night,
[Em]Chasing your shadow [C]out of sight.

(Verse 2)
[G]Highway signs point to [D]places we’ve been,
[Em]Your ghost in the rearview, [C]thinner than thin.

(Repeat Chorus)

(Bridge)
[D] Time is a bandit, [Em] steals without care,
[C] Left me with nothing but [G] memories to spare.
[D] I’m just a passenger, [Em] hurtling through space,
[C] Longing for one more [G] glance of your face.

(Repeat Chorus)

[Em]Maybe someday, [C] I’ll see you again.
