Attached Trade

Backstory:

Attached Trade has its roots nestled deep in the heart of Austin, Texas. The band formed in 2008 when Jason Hargrove, a struggling songwriter found himself in a local dive bar, meeting his future bandmates, drummer Darren Thompson and bassist Peter O’Connell. As the night grew darker and the drinks stronger, they found that their musical tastes and ambitions aligned. Soon, they were jamming together in Darren’s garage, and the foundation of Attached Trade was set.

The band spent their early years performing at local venues and seeking out their sound. They gained a reputation for their electrifying performances and deeply introspective lyrics. After a few years of refining their style and lineup, they added keyboardist Rebecca Scott. With her virtuoso talent, the band’s sound evolved into something unique and captivating. They released their first album in 2012 and quickly emerged as one of Austin’s most promising indie rock bands.
