Backstory:
Minty Door was formed on a balmy summer day back in 2010 in the eclectic city of Austin, Texas. Four friends, Nash, Dylan, Colt, and Rio, who shared a love for music, decided to jam together in a grungy basement. The name ‘Minty Door’ was derived from their unique rehearsal space, which was an old, mint-green door that led to their basement studio. The band’s journey began as something of a hobby, a respite from their day jobs. However, their infectious energy and raw talent soon caught the attention of local music enthusiasts, and what started as an after-work jamming session quickly picked up pace.
Fast forward a decade, Minty Door has developed a dedicated fanbase and has performed in several music festivals and concerts. Their success story is an inspiring testament to the power of friendship, passion, and music – something that is strongly reflected in their lyrics and performances.

Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro]
Em C G D
[Verse 1]
Em C
Underneath the old willow tree,
G D
Where dreams are woven in mystery,
Em C
We found ourselves lost in time,
G D
In the rhythm of life, in a poetic rhyme.
[Chorus]
G D
We are Stardust and Daydreams,
Em C
Lost in the universe, chasing themes,
G D
In the echoes of our laughter,
Em C
We find the love we’re after.
[Verse 2]
Em C
In the hush of the midnight sun,
G D
We danced to the beat of our own drum,
Em C
A symphony of love and despair,
G D
We found solace in the midnight air.
[Chorus]
G D
We are Stardust and Daydreams,
Em C
Lost in the universe, chasing themes,
G D
In the echoes of our laughter,
Em C
We find the love we’re after.

Fan Name: Lucy Thompson
“I’ve been a fan of Minty Door since their first gig at the local pub. Their music speaks to my soul. It’s raw, authentic, and beautifully melancholic. Their lyrics are filled with stories of love, loss, and life that resonate with me deeply. Each song is a journey that carries a piece of my heart with it. Nash, Dylan, Colt, and Rio are not just musicians, they’re storytellers. I see my life reflected in their words, and their music has been the soundtrack of my life. Minty Door is not just my favorite band, they’re a part of me.”
