Backstory:
Meek Opinion originated out of the bustling, vibrant streets of Seattle, Washington in early 2013. The band consists of four members: lead vocalist and guitarist Owen Drake, bassist Jesse Miller, drummer Kyle Brookes, and keyboardist Ryan Gordon. Initially, they were just buddies jamming in their garages, sharing their love for music, and dreaming one day they might become a household name. They got their break after a viral video surfaced of an impromptu rooftop performance. The video caught the attention of local music producers, and their journey to stardom began.
The name ‘Meek Opinion’ was coined during a late-night brainstorming session. They decided that it perfectly embodied their humble beginnings and their desire to express their opinions and messages through their music.

The band’s favorite fan is a young woman named Lily Thompson. Lily is a bookstore owner from Seattle, who stumbled upon their music while searching for local talents. She was instantly captivated by their raw and powerful lyrics, which resonated with her own life experiences. And Lily is not just any fan, she was the person who recorded their rooftop performance and uploaded it online, becoming the inadvertent catalyst to their success.
