Backstory:
Delirious Kettle began as a group of college friends from the University of Maine who shared a passion for music and an insatiable desire for creativity. The band was named in tribute to a peculiar college tradition, in which a rusty old kettle was passed down among students, becoming the symbol of many wild and delirious nights. The band members, Dave Matthews (vocals, keyboard), Rachel Turner (bass guitar, backing vocals), Liam Shaw (lead guitar) and Vincent “Vinnie” Marsh (drums), took their experiences and transformed them into a unique brand of music that resonated with their generation and beyond.
The band members were known for their eccentric and quirky style, often incorporating unusual instruments, like kazoos and ukuleles, and even found objects, like that emblematic kettle, into their performances. Their music, a blend of their shared influences and unique sounds, quickly caught on in their local music scene, leading to a record deal and a steadily growing fan base.
