Steep Quiver

Backstory:

Steep Quiver was formed in a small, forgotten town in Vermont, where life seemed too quiet for the spirited young souls, yearning for a touch of excitement. The band comprises five members: guitarist and lead vocalist Johnny ‘Sticks’ Watson, drummer Billy ‘Hammer’ Frye, bassist Gary ‘Bassman’ Fisher, keyboardist Donna ‘Keys’ Malone, and violinist Lisa ‘Fiddle’ Green. Their camaraderie began in high school when they discovered their shared passion for music. They began playing in the garage of Watson’s house, slowly morphing their raw talent into a structured, cohesive sound. Despite discouragements from the small-town mentality, they pursued their passion with unwavering determination, playing at local bars and small gigs, building their unique brand and sound.

Genre:
Steep Quiver operates within the country-rock genre, sprinkling elements of folk and bluegrass into their music.

Fans:

A fan named ‘PickupTruckPat’ stands out amongst Steep Quiver’s many admirers. A testimony from him reads, “I’ve seen bands come and go, but none like Steep Quiver. They ain’t just playing music, they’re narrating stories, spinning yarns of love, loss, and life with their instruments. Their songs transport me into their world, and for a few minutes, I am lost in the rhythm of their music and the soul of their lyrics. It’s pure, it’s raw, it’s real, and it’s my favorite. There’s nothing quite like a Steep Quiver concert. They make you feel like you’re part of the family, part of their journey, and that’s why they’re my favorite.”
