Backstory:
Born from the suburban basements of Seattle, Washington, Junior Assault burst onto the music scene in 2009. The four-piece band comprises high school friends Jake “Riot” Morrison (vocals), Tommy “Bullet” Harris (guitar), Ryan “Tank” Thompson (bass), and Martin “Siren” Stevens (drums). United by their mutual love for punk rock and seventies glam, they started jamming in Jake’s parents’ garage, turning their teenage angst and rebellion into loud, raucous melodies. They quickly gained a reputation in their neighborhood for their energetic performances and grungy punk anthems. Before they knew it, their fanbase began to grow, spreading across cities, and then countries.
Junior Assault’s music became a beacon of youthful rebellion, resonating deeply with their generation. Their raw, unfiltered sound, coupled with their authentic and brutally honest lyrics, earned them a dedicated fan base. The band’s energy and passion spilled over into their live performances, making them a must-see act on the local circuit. Their music quickly caught the attention of a local record label, who signed them to produce their first album in 2011.
