Tame Railway

Backstory:

Tame Railway started in the back alleys of Chicago, a group of friends with a shared love for music and a dream to make it big. They used to gather in the garage of their lead vocalist, Roger Clayton, and practice their tunes until the early hours of the morning. Over time, the neighbors began to complain less about the noise and more about wanting to hear more. The local community began to recognize their talent and before they knew it, they were playing at local pubs and events. Their unique sound, combined with their heartfelt and often reflective lyrics, resonated deeply with their listeners and they quickly gained a loyal following.

The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Roger Clayton, drummer Sammy Hawkins, bass guitarist Billy Nash, and keyboardist Jane Andrews. Each member brings their own unique energy and sound to the band, creating a harmonious blend that has become characteristic of Tame Railway. Despite their sudden rise to fame, they remain humble and true to their roots, often playing surprise gigs in their old neighborhood.

Title:

“Where the Tracks End”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am C G E
Down by the station, where our dreams began,
Am C G E
We boarded the train, with no real plan.
Am C G E
Chasing horizons, leaving all behind,
Am C G E
In search of answers, we hoped to find.

(Chorus)
C G Am E
Where the tracks end, we’ll find our way,
C G Am E
With hearts ablaze, nothing to sway.
C G Am E
In this journey, we found our sound,
C G Am E
On the Tame Railway, we are homeward bound.

(Verse 2)
Am C G E
Through city lights, and starry nights,
Am C G E
We played our songs, with all our might.
Am C G E
From open fields to bustling towns,
Am C G E
In every corner, our music resounds.

(Chorus)
C G Am E
Where the tracks end, we’ll stake our claim,
C G Am E
With hearts entwined, in this music game.
C G Am E
In this journey, we found our crowd,
C G Am E
On the Tame Railway, we sing out loud.

Fan Testimonial:

My name is Liam, and I’ve been a fan of Tame Railway since they started playing in Roger’s garage. Their music has an authenticity you rarely find these days. It feels like they’re telling my story, and the stories of people around me, through their songs. There’s something so raw and real in their lyrics that just grabs you and keeps you coming back for more. Tame Railway isn’t just my favorite band because they make great music, they’re my favorite because they’ve created a sense of community and connection through their music, that’s really special.
