Buoyant Butter

Backstory:
Buoyant Butter was born out of an impromptu jam session in the basement of a small bakery in a coastal town of Bakersville, Oregon. The band members, lead vocalist and guitarist, Luke Migliorini, drummer, Rex Simmons, and bassist, Charlie Smith, originally worked together at “The Rising Dough” bakery, a small local venture famed for its delicious pastries. One evening, after a long day of kneading dough and baking bread, they found themselves jamming on some old instruments left behind by the bakery’s previous owner. Their synergy was palpable, and buoyed by the smell of freshly baked bread, they decided to form a band, naming it ‘Buoyant Butter’- a whimsical nod to their bread-baking background.

The small town quickly embraced their music, and word started to spread to neighboring towns and cities. Buoyant Butter’s music was fresh, full of energy, and had a unique flavor that set them apart, much like the bakery’s pastries. They started performing at local events, festivals and soon were grabbing spots at popular music venues.
