Backstory:
The journey of ‘General Table’ began in the heart of Manchester, England, in 2015 when three university friends – Oliver Turner, Sam Reynolds, and Nancy Hughes – teamed up to form a band. They were all music enthusiasts and shared a love for blending different music styles. The name ‘General Table’ was inspired by their practice sessions which usually took place around a large, old wooden table in Sam’s basement. They saw the table as a symbol of unity and togetherness and decided to incorporate it in their band’s name.

They started by performing at local pubs and quickly gained popularity. Their unique music style blended with heartfelt lyrics resonated with the audience. After winning a local music competition, they got their big break and released their first album in 2017. Since then, they have been rising steadily in the music scene, garnering a wide fan base in the UK and beyond.
