Backstory:
Fabulous Tray is an eclectic group of musicians that came together in the heart of San Francisco’s vibrant music scene. They were all working separate gigs, playing in different bars and clubs when fate brought them together one stormy night in a rundown bar. They quickly bonded over their shared love for uncategorizable music, deciding to form a band that defied all genre labels. Their shared vision for creating music that was raw, unfiltered and resonated with people’s emotions led to the birth of Fabulous Tray.

The band’s name originates from a joke amongst the members. The story goes that they were eating at a local diner, and the waiter, a friend of theirs, brought their food on a ‘fabulous tray’. They found it so amusing that they decided to name the band after it. That incident encapsulates the ethos of the band – finding inspiration in the ordinary, infusing it with their creativity, and turning it into something extraordinary.
