Sweet Dime

Backstory:

Sweet Dime was born out of the ashes of a failed rock band in the mid-90s. The three founding members – Jack “Sweet” Thompson, Danny “Dime” Landon, and Lily “The Voice” Martin – found themselves parting ways with their then-band due to creative differences. The trio decided to stick together, and Sweet Dime was soon born, a blend of their names and a nod to their harmonious interplay of music and vocals. They started performing at local bars in their home town of Las Vegas, quickly earning a reputation for their energetic performances and captivating melodies.

In less than a year, Sweet Dime was signed to a major record label. Their journey often compared to a roller-coaster ride, filled with several highs and few lows. Yet, their bond remained unshakeable, and the music they produced was always true to their hearts. Sweet Dime is not just a band; it’s a family that sings together, laughs together, and creates magic together.

Genre:

Rock with elements of blues and pop.

Title:

“Tonight’s The Night”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
C#m F#m G#m A
Tonight’s the night, under the neon light,
C#m F#m G#m A
City’s alive, and so is the fight.
C#m F#m G#m A
Running wild, free as a kite,
C#m F#m G#m A
Tonight’s the night we set things right.

(Chorus)
D A E F#m
Tonight’s the night, let’s ignite,
D A E F#m
Burning bright, in love’s pure light.
D A E F#m
Tonight’s the night, no need to fight,
D A E F#m
Loving tight, until the morning light.

(Verse 2)
C#m F#m G#m A
Tonight’s the night, breaking from the plight,
C#m F#m G#m A
Chasing dreams, with all our might.
C#m F#m G#m A
Feel the rhythm, feel the flight,
C#m F#m G#m A
Tonight’s the night we disco in delight.

(Repeat Chorus)

Testimonial:

“Sweet Dime is not just a band to me, they’re a religion. Their music has the power to lift my spirits on the dreariest of days. It resonates with me on a level I can’t explain. The energy, the lyrics, the raw emotions in their songs – it’s a beautiful chaos. They have a knack for making you feel like you’re part of their journey, part of their family. And the best part is their live performances – they absolutely kill it on stage! I’ve been to every Sweet Dime concert in my city since ’98, and they never cease to amaze me with their passion for music. They’re not just my favorite band – they’re my favorite people.”
