Backstory:

Gracious Purpose is a band that was formed out of pure nostalgia. The band consists of five members: lead singer and guitarist Jackson Hems, bassist Daniel Frost, drummer Marcus Daily, pianist and backing vocalist Aria Dawn, and violinist and flutist Evelyn Sharp. All of them and their families lived in the same small town of Ashville, Tennessee. Growing up as childhood friends, they fostered a mutual admiration for music, which later became the foundation of their band.

During their college years, they moved to different cities but eventually returned to their small town after being overwhelmed by the urban lifestyle. They realized that their hearts genuinely belonged to their hometown’s music, the rhythm of country life. They wanted to share their unique perspective with the world, so in 2018, they formed ‘Gracious Purpose’, an embodiment of their nostalgic sentiments and their gracious purpose to create music that resonates with the soul.
