Backstory:
Fumbling Cloud was birthed in the bustling hipster corners of Portland, Oregon, in 2013. The band started as a group of friends who shared an insatiable passion for music and wanted to add their own unique sound to the indie folk scene. The members – frontman Ethan Parker, guitarist Noah Davis, bassist Adam Reese, and drummer Max Copeland – spent their nights jamming in basement studios and their days working odd jobs to support their musical endeavors. Their raw, emotional lyrics paired with their dynamic instrumentals quickly attracted a loyal fanbase, and they soon found themselves playing at local music festivals and bars.
After signing with a small independent label in 2017, Fumbling Cloud’s distinctive sound started to reach a wider audience. Their debut album, “Nighttime’s Lullaby,” earned them national attention and a place on several ‘Bands to Watch’ lists. Despite their growing fame, the band remains grounded, cherishing their shared love for music and their dedicated fans.

Title:
“Raindrop Whispers”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em
Raindrop whispers on the window,
G
Echoes of our old hello,
D
In the quiet, in the shadow,
C
You’re the light that won’t let go.
(Chorus)
G
Through the storm and through the sorrow,
Em
You’re the hope I get to borrow,
C
In your love, I find my tomorrow,
D
Raindrop whispers, hearts that follow.
(Verse 2)
Em
Guitar strings strum the spaces,
G
Among dreams our heart embraces,
D
In the quiet, in these places,
C
We’re the melody that graces.
(Chorus)
G
Through the pain, and through the hollow,
Em
You’re the song that I will follow,
C
In your rhythm, I find my echo,
D
Raindrop whispers, love’s crescendo.
End:
Em
Raindrop whispers our goodbyes,
G
But in the silence, our music lies,
D
In the quiet, our love defies,
C
You’re the song that never dies.
