Chilly Explanation

Backstory:

Chilly Explanation, an indie-rock band, was born in the cold, snowy town of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 2012. Founding members, Jeremy Fisher and Noah Clarke, friends since high school, were snowed in and bored during a particularly harsh winter. Strumming on their guitars to pass the time, they started writing songs together by the fireplace, and this was the beginning of their musical journey. They found their unique sound, a fusion of alternative rock and folk with a hint of blues, which resonated with people in their small town. As they expanded their local fan base, they took their shows from backyards to bars and then to music festivals. Joined by bassist Bethany Martin and drummer Luke Thompson, the band has since toured extensively across Canada and is gaining momentum on the international music scene.

Title: “Frosty Tales”

Full Song Lyrics:

[Verse 1]
Am G F
In a snowy town, beneath the northern lights,
Am G F
We played our chords, in the chilly winter nights.
Am G F
Our melodies echoed, through the silent snow,
Am G F
Bearing our frosty tales, for the world to know.

[Chorus]
C G Am F
Frosty tales, under the northern star,
C G Am F
In our songs, is where our stories are.
C G Am F
Our dreams, our hopes, in every line,
C G Am F
In this cold world, our music is our sunshine.

[Verse 2]
Am G F
The echoes of our chords, now cross the oceans wide,
Am G F
Our frosty tales, are no longer confined.
Am G F
In every heart, that our music reaches,
Am G F
There’s a bit of us, in every song that teaches.

[Chorus]
C G Am F
Frosty tales, under the northern star,
C G Am F
In our songs, is where our stories are.
C G Am F
Our dreams, our hopes, in every line,
C G Am F
In this cold world, our music is our sunshine.
