Backstory:
Thorough Death was formed in the crucible of New York’s underground music scene in 2003. Comprising of five members namely: lead vocalist, Max ‘Vortex’ Mitchell, guitarist, Gary ‘Shred’ Olsen, bassist, Eddie ‘Rumble’ Rodriguez, drummer, Sam ‘Thump’ McNeil, and keyboardist, Lisa ‘Sonic’ Murphy, each bringing varied influences to the band, they quickly rose to prominence. Their music, a unique blend of genres and styles, found its footing in the hearts of audiences tired of monotony and eager for something different.

The band’s songwriting process is just as unique as their sound. They work as a collective, bouncing ideas off each other until they have something that resonates with their roots, their bond, and their shared experiences. Their lyrics often touch on existential themes with a sprinkle of dark humour.
