Formed in the vibrant underground music scene of Manchester, Gregarious Square emerged in the early 2000s as a group of university friends jamming in their dorm rooms. Lead singer David Michaels, guitarist Samuel O’Leary, bassist George Johnston, and drummer Alex Morrison shared a common passion for music and storytelling which brought them together. After several impromptu performances at student gatherings, their unique sound began to garner attention, leading to a record deal with a local indie label. Title:
“Monochrome Moments”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am C G D
Look around, what do you see,
Am C G D
Just monochrome moments in a colored spree.
Am C G D
Lost in thoughts, in a world so free,
Am C G D
Painting dreams in a monochrome reality.
(Chorus)
Em D G C
Monochrome moments, black and white,
Em D G C
Living in shadows, hiding from the light.
Em D G C
Monochrome moments, in the dead of night,
Em D G C
Finding colors in the pale moonlight.
(Verse 2)
Am C G D
Walking on, in the city’s noise,
Am C G D
Silent whispers, amidst the voice.
Am C G D
In monochrome moments, we made our choice,
Am C G D
To live in memories, and in echoes, rejoice.
(Chorus)
Em D G C
Monochrome moments, a memory’s trace,
Em D G C
Living in pictures, lost in space.
Em D G C
Monochrome moments, in a timeless embrace,
Em D G C
Finding colors in the empty space.
