Backstory:

Formed in a sleepy, coastal town of Maine in 2006, Nutritious Crate is a charming assemblage of childhood friends with a shared passion for music and storytelling. The band, consisting of lead vocalist Ben Jefferson, guitarist Tim Reynolds, bassist Sam Watson, and drummer Will Turner, met and bonded at a local farmers market, hence the unique name, Nutritious Crate. What started as a casual jamming session during their high school years soon turned into a soulful venture that resonated with the hearts of many, transcending boundaries and genres.

As their sound matured, Nutritious Crate began to perform at small gigs around town, busking in parks, serenading locals at the farmers market, and even playing at the annual county fair. Their music was a beacon of peace and unity, and it wasn’t long before they got their big break. When a passerby recorded their performance and posted it online, it went viral, catapulting them into the limelight. Despite their newfound fame, Nutritious Crate remains rooted in their humble beginnings and continues to create music that is known for its honesty and heartfelt lyrics.
