Grandiose Buyer is a bold and expressive group that formed under the raining skyscrapers of New York City in 2011. The band started as a duo, featuring the eclectic rhythm guitarist, Otis Bernard, and the soulful lead vocalist, Layla Curtis. They began by playing in small clubs, basking in the rawness of their sound, and the enjoyment of a shared musical passion. As their popularity grew, they added a new member, a drummer named Rex Watson, whose hard-hitting style helped shape the band’s distinctive sound.
