Backstory:
Skinny Owner is a four-piece band hailing from a small sleepy town in Ohio. The band members – Josh, Matt, Ryan, and Sam – met in their high school days and shared a common bond; their love for music. The name ‘Skinny Owner’ was inspired by the lean physique of their high school principal, who was also the proud owner of a classic vinyl record shop in town. They began to play at local gigs, quickly gaining recognition for their raw and soulful sound. After graduation, the boys decided to pursue their shared passion, dedicating their time to creating music that spoke to the hearts of their listeners.

‘Fading Echoes’
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em G
In a small town, we were dreamers,
D A
Counting stars and chasing comets,
Em G
Underneath the midnight sky, we let our spirits fly,
(Chorus)
C G
Fading echoes, in the silence,
D Em
We found our defiance,
C G
Building castles in the sand,
D Em
With the music as our command.
(Verse 2)
Em G
High school hallways, secret whispers,
D A
Growing older, with blisters,
Em G
Holding onto every dream, like a silent scream.
(Chorus)
C G
Fading echoes, in the distance,
D Em
Our shared existence,
C G
In every song, in every word,
D Em
Our voices will be heard.
(Bridge)
F#m D
In this small town, we found our sound,
A E
In the fading echoes, we are bound.
(Chorus)
C G
Fading echoes, in the silence,

We found our guidance,

In the strings, in the notes,
D Em
In the music, we found our hopes.
(Ending Verse)
Em G
As the skinny owner watches,
D A
In the shop, as time marches,
Em G
We’ll keep playing, keep dreaming,

In the echoes, we’ll keep believing.
