Backstory:
Formed in the rainy streets of Washington, Subtle Salt was born in 2015. The band’s story dates back to an open mic night in a local bar, where the future bandmates’ paths crossed. Joe, the charismatic lead vocalist and talented guitarist, was playing a solo set that night. His soulful voice caught the attention of Tim, a bassist, and Adam, a drummer, who were in the audience marveling at his talent. After the show, the trio felt a strong musical connection, and they decided to join forces to create something unique. They named themselves Subtle Salt, embodying their approach to music: subtle, profound, but with a touch of savoriness.

Song Title:
“Ocean Echoes”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Staring at the [C] ocean, feeling the [Em] waves,
[D] Echoes of your [G] voice, lost in the [Am] haze.
[G] The wind whispers your [C] name, the sand misses your [Em] touch,
[D] The sun sets with your [G] memory, oh it’s [Am] all too much.
(Chorus)
[G] Ocean echoes, [D] bring me back to [Em] you,
[C] Can you hear it [G] too? [D] Our love was so [Em] true.
[G] Under the twilight [D] sky, [Em] lost in the sea of [C] blue,
[G] Ocean echoes, [D] I’ll forever [Em] love you.
(Verse 2)
[G] Remember the footprints [C] we left, washed [Em] away by the tide,
[D] Now it’s just the [G] ocean, and your [Am] memory by my side.
[G] The moonlight on my [C] face, the [Em] stars reflect your grace,
[D] If I close my [G] eyes, I still see your [Am] face.
(Repeat Chorus)
