Backstory:
Ignorant Half is comprised of five childhood friends from a small town in Montana. Initially formed as a means to channel their bored adolescent energy, the group found themselves writing music that resonated with not only their own experiences, but with the undercurrent of their generation’s angst. The band features lead vocalist, Jerry “Jax” Jackson, guitarist and backup vocalist Brad “BB” Bristow, bassist Danny “DD” Daniels, keyboardist Chris “CC” Carlisle and drummer Tony “TT” Thompson. Despite their seemingly simplistic stage names, these guys are anything but stereotypical rock stars. Their commitment to staying true to their roots and their refusal to conform to industry norms have endeared them to fans worldwide.
Genre:
Ignorant Half produces music that transcends traditional genre boundaries, but can best be described as a fusion of alternative-rock and indie-folk. Their lyrics are introspective and their sound, a blend of raw guitars, melodic riffs, and emotional vocals.
