Backstory:
Amused Awareness was formed in the summer of 2009, in the small town of Crestwood, California. The band members, high school friends – Dave Jennings (vocals), Mike Peterson (guitar), and twins Ryan and Lily Thompson (bass and drums, respectively), transformed their shared love for music into an eclectic band. They began their journey in a small garage, creating music that resonated their experiences in the small town. Their music was a reflection of their collective observations and experiences, hence the name – ‘Amused Awareness’.

They began playing in local bars and clubs around their town and slowly gathered a loyal fan base. Their first big break came when they were spotted by a music producer at one of their gigs, who offered them an opportunity to record their first album. Since then, there’s been no looking back for this dynamic band.

Band’s Favorite Fan:
Our favorite fan is a lovely lady named Donna White. Donna has been with us since the beginning. She found us during our first gig at a local club and has followed us ever since.
