Backstory:
The Forked Gang, including members Sam “Stick” Johnson, Billy “Bug” Jackson, Mark “Dempsey” Davis, and Rick “Riff” Rivers, met while studying at the University of Sound and Groove in Seattle. They began jamming together in their dorm rooms, creating a unique blend of music that quickly attracted the attention of their classmates. A few impromptu performances later, they decided to form an official band, and the Forked Gang was born. Their name came from a running joke where they’d always eat their late-night pizza with forks, earning them the teasing nickname, which eventually stuck as the band’s moniker.
