Backstory:
Fussy Advantage emerged from the bohemian cobblestone streets of Brooklyn in 2012. The band was formed by four childhood friends, all sharing a similar love for music and a burning desire to express themselves through it. Jack Hawthorne, a brooding poet turned lyricist, roped in his friends – Steve Mills, a jazz enthusiast on drums, Marley Thompson, a classically trained violinist now bass player and Leonard Vincent, a self-taught prodigy on the guitar – to form a band like no other. They found their name from a phrase that Jack constantly used, “Fussy Advantage”, referring to their meticulous attention to detail and the edge it gave them.
