Backstory:
Wet Love was formed in the bustling city of Seattle in 2013, during one of the city’s infamous rainy seasons. The founding members, drummer Julian Cross and lead vocalist/guitarist Mia Evans, were former high school mates who reconnected at a local coffee shop. As the rain poured outside, they found a shared love for music, and decided to form a band. Bassist Robby Flynn and keyboardist Lily Koenig joined shortly after, completing the classic line-up that fans would come to adore.
Despite initially struggling in the competitive music scene, Wet Love’s unique concoction of emotive lyrics, catchy melodies and raw performances gradually won over crowds. They gained popularity through intimate live shows in local bars and coffee shops, eventually landing a record deal in 2015. Their debut album “Raindance” was a major local hit, and they’ve been riding the wave of their success since, releasing multiple albums and touring extensively.
