Backstory:
Zigzag Cap emerged from the lively underground music scene in Portland, Oregon in the late 2000s. The band members, lead vocalist Benji Brooks, guitarist Emily Redding, bassist Tim ‘Buzz’ Beam, and drummer Noah ‘Shade’ Nesmith, all met at a local jam session held at a record store. They quickly bonded over their shared love for eclectic music and decided to form a band. Zigzag Cap began performing at local venues, winning over audiences with their innovative sound. Their quick rise to popularity eventually earned them a record deal, and they have been electrifying audiences nationally and internationally since then.
