Backstory:
Flimsy Cliff, a name that originated from a late-night college dorm conversation about how life often feels like teetering on the edge of a precarious precipice, is a four-piece band straight out of the heart of Brooklyn, New York. Consisting of close friends who found common ground while studying music at the New York University: lead vocalist Mike Hardy, guitarist Sam Williams, bassist Leo Thompson, and drummer Charlie Ross. The quartet began their journey in 2016, playing in local gigs and small venues, until their unique sound caught the ear of an indie record label, leading to the release of their debut album in 2019.

Despite their name suggesting uncertainty, Flimsy Cliff’s journey has been anything but shaky. Their ability to wrap important social messages within catchy tunes and relatable lyrics resonated with listeners, catapulting them into the indie rock scene. Their story is a testament to camaraderie, perseverance, and the power of music that speaks from the heart.
