Enormous Boom

Backstory:
Enormous Boom was born in the gritty underbelly of Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2006. A group of four high school friends, led by charismatic frontman Teddy ‘Boom’ Baxter, took their shared love for music and admiration for the post-punk revival scene, and decided to create their own sound. After months spent in Baxter’s parents’ basement honing their craft, the band emerged with a unique and raw sound, quickly gaining a local following.

Their breakthrough came in 2008 when they won ‘Battle of the Bands’ at the renowned First Avenue club. Their intense live performance and infectious sound caught the attention of a talent scout, and they were soon signed to an independent record label. Since then, Enormous Boom has climbed the ranks of indie music, headlining tours across the nation and landing spots in major music festivals.

Title:
“In the Shadow of the City Lights”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em G
Beneath the city lights we roam, we’re just figures unknown,
Am C
Caught in a rhythm, lost in a tone, our hearts made of stone.

(Verse 2)
Em G
In the shadow of the giants, we lay our claim,
Am C
With a sound so defiant, untouched by fame.

(Chorus)
Em G
Oh, we’re the enormous boom, echo in the night,
Am C
Our music is the guide, in the city’s endless fight.

(Verse 3)
Em G
We’ve tasted the bitter, we’ve tasted the sweet,
Am C
In the heart of the city, where hopes and dreams meet.

(Chorus)
Em G
We are the enormous boom, under the city sky,
Am C
Our song is the city’s lullaby, in the hush of the night.
