Song Title:
“Rhythm of the Rain”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C
Lookin’ out the window, staring at the sky,
G D
The rhythm of the rain is giving me the blues tonight.
Em C
Lonely city streets, painted with the light,
G D
Reflecting all the pain that’s hidden in my mind.

(Chorus)
G D
Oh, the rhythm of the rain, take my pain away,
Em C
Drown my sorrows, wash my guilt today.
G D
The rhythm of the rain, echo my dismay,
Em C
Carry my troubles, let them fade away.

(Verse 2)
Em C
Broken hearts and neon signs, flicker in the night,
G D
The rhythm of the rain is playing with the city lights.
Em C
Every drop’s a memory, every thunder a fight,
G D
The rhythm of the rain keeps playing on this lonesome night.

(Chorus)
G D
Oh, the rhythm of the rain, let it play my song,
Em C
Weave a melody around my wrongs.
G D
The rhythm of the rain, all night long,
Em C
Bare my soul to the world, let it sing along.

Fan Testimonial:
Sally Benson, a devoted fan, states, “Strict Dose is by far my favorite band. Their unique blend of blues and rock hits right at the heart. Their lyrics are so poetic and meaningful, it’s like they’re telling my own life stories. ‘Rhythm of the Rain’ is my personal favorite. I think it’s absolutely beautiful how they’ve used the rhythm of rain as a metaphor for dealing with pain and sorrow. I feel a deep connection with their music. It’s raw, it’s real, and it’s absolutely mesmerizing.”
