Backstory:
Reckless Darkness formed in the heart of Chicago’s underground rock scene back in 2012. The band consists of four members: Charlie “Chaos” Matthews (lead vocals/guitar), Vince “Viper” Anderson (drums), Liz “Raven” Smith (bass/vocals), and Jimmy “Joker” Murphy (lead guitar). The four met during a random jam session at a local dive bar and quickly discovered a shared passion for creating raw, unfiltered music that spoke to the chaos and beauty of life. They played in various local spots, slowly building a fan base with their energetic performances and powerful lyrics. Tapping into their struggles and triumphs, the band cultivated a sound that resonated deeply with their audience, inspiring them to face their fears with unapologetic boldness.
