Backstory:
Bogus Song originated from a small town in Ohio, founded by childhood friends Jason Bell and Sammy Turner in 2008. The duo started creating music in their basement, inspired by their shared love for folk and rock music. Jason, an avid guitarist, and Sammy, a gifted pianist, combined their talents and began experimenting with different sounds. Bogus Song slowly began to gain a following after performing at various local venues. The name ‘Bogus Song’ was born out of their desire to debunk the idea of music being formulaic. To them, each song is its own universe, free to defy conventions and expectations.
