Founded in the vibrant city of Los Angeles in 2018, Busy Writer is the brainchild of four talented musicians who met in college. Cody Jenkins (lead vocals), Luke Peters (guitarist), Rebecca Smith (bassist), and Michael Grant (drummer) bonded over their shared love for music and the written word, hence the name Busy Writer. Instead of choosing the ordinary path of internships and corporate jobs after graduation, they decided to chase their collective dream of starting a band. They began playing in local bars, and soon enough, their unique sound and authentic lyrics started gaining them a substantial fanbase.
