Backstory:
Defenseless Rhythm had humble beginnings as a high school band in the vibrant city of Austin, Texas. Their shared love for music and the desire to fuse different musical influences brought Austin Rhodes, the lead vocalist and guitarist, Benny Thompson, the bassist, and drummer, Ian Lee, together. The trio spent countless afternoons jamming in Barnes’ garage, honing their skills and crafting their unique sound. After sweeping local music competitions and gaining a loyal fanbase, Defenseless Rhythm decided to take their passion to the next level. Their breakthrough came after their energetic performances at South by Southwest Music Festival, where they were spotted by a talent scout and landed a record deal.
Genre: Defenseless Rhythm’s music is a unique blend of alternative rock fused with elements of indie pop.
