“One Last Letter”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Staring at the [D] picture, that’s been [Em] hidden in my drawer,
[C] Thinking ’bout the [G] times, we will [D] never have once more.
[G] The echoes in my [D] head, of your [Em] laughter and your voice,
[C] This is my [G] last letter to you, [D] ’cause I’ve got no other choice.
(Chorus)
[C] But I’ll remember [G] you, in the [D] midnight’s soft caress,
[Em] In the whispers of the [C] wind, in the [G] moon’s silent [D] confes.
[C] I’ll remember [G] you, as the [D] sun sets in the west,
[Em] As the stars they start to [C] bloom, in the [G] sky’s dark [D] vest.
(Verse 2)
[G] The room now feels so [D] empty, just like [Em] my hollow heart,
[C] All I got are [G] memories, tearing [D] me apart.
[G] But I’ll keep you [D] safe, deep within [Em] my soul,
[C] You’ll be a part of [G] me, filling up my [D] empty bowl.
(Chorus)
[C] And I’ll remember [G] you, in the [D] silence of the night,
[Em] In the rustle of the [C] leaves, in the [G] eagle’s [D] flight.
[C] I’ll remember [G] you, till my [D] last breath do us part,
[Em] You’ll always be the [C] song, that [G] lingers in my [D] heart.
