Backstory:

Born in the eclectic music scene of Seattle, Tubby Rhythm is a band that has transformed their love for music into a full-blown career, with the humble beginnings of neighborhood garage jams to packing out local venues. The band is comprised of childhood friends, lead singer and guitarist Jay “Tubby” Thompson and drummer Patrick “Rhythm” Ryan. Their unique blend of sounds are heavily influenced by the diverse musical taste they developed growing up. They’ve been together for over a decade, and in that time they’ve seen their fair share of ups and downs. Their unbreakable bond and passion for their craft have kept them going, producing music that hits the heart and soul.

Tubby Rhythm’s music is best defined as a fusion of alternative rock and indie folk, with dashes of blues and jazz thrown in for good measure.
