These Nail

Backstory:

These Nail is a garage-turned-mainstream phenomenon that found its roots in the small town of Auburn, Illinois. Founding members and childhood friends, lead singer Ethan Harkins and drummer Cameron Stark, started the band as a rebellious act against their mundane suburban lifestyles. After adding guitarist Noah Coleman and bassist Kyle Moore to complete the lineup, they transformed their parents’ garages into makeshift studios, spending countless hours creating their unique sound. Their big break came unexpectedly when a demo tape was picked up by a local radio station, and before they knew it, These Nail became the soundtrack to every youth’s rebellion in Illinois and soon, across the U.S.

“Rusted Dreams”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] We painted our dreams on the [C] sidewalk,
[D] Only to be washed away by the [Em] rain.
[G] Packed our hopes in our pockets, [C]
But they [D] rusted under our mundane [Em] pain.

(Chorus)
[G] Rusted dreams, forgotten [Em] scenes,
[C] Running wild in our blue [D] jeans.
[G] Little town, big dreams, [Em]
Underneath the [C] moonlight’s gleaming [D] seams.

(Verse 2)
[G] We found solace in the [C] starlight,
[D] Made our wishes on every falling [Em] star.
[G] Holding on to the echoes of our laughter, [C]
[D] Hoping they’d drown the silence of our [Em] scars.

(Chorus)
[G] Rusted dreams, forgotten [Em] scenes,
[C] Running wild in our blue [D] jeans.
[G] Little town, big dreams, [Em]
Underneath the [C] moonlight’s gleaming [D] seams.
