Grounded Delegate

Backstory:
Grounded Delegate was formed in the bustling city of Austin, Texas. The band was launched into existence over a spontaneous jam session between three high school friends – Alex James (guitar), Ben Richards (drums), and Sam Wilson (bass). After a chance meeting with charismatic singer-songwriter, Lucy Thompson at a local open mic night, the trio was complete. Together, they began making music in Wilson’s garage, their raw and authentic sound echoing throughout the suburban neighborhood. Grounded Delegate was born from an amalgamation of shared dreams and a unified commitment to a genuine and original sound.

The band spent their early years playing local gigs and quickly gained a reputation for their energetic performances and profound lyricism. Their breakthrough moment came when they bagged the first spot at Austin’s renowned South by Southwest Music Festival. A record deal with Indie Records followed. Their humble beginnings grounded them, and they became a delegate of the common people’s voice, thus the name Grounded Delegate.

Title:
“Echoes of Silver Lines”

Song Lyrics:

Verse 1: (C-G-Am-F)
Out in the scarlet dawn, we’re restless, we’re young (C-G)
Under the neon lights, our journey’s just begun (Am-F)
Through whispering winds and the city’s mighty hum (C-G)
We search for silver lines, where shadows come undone (Am-F)

Chorus: (Am-G-F)
Echoes of silver lines, guiding us home (Am-G)
In the heart of the night, we’re never alone (F)
Stars above, in the night sky they roam (Am-G)
Echoes of silver lines, in our hearts, they’re sown (F)

Verse 2: (C-G-Am-F)
Paths that we tread, in the wake of the sun (C-G)
With dreams in our heads, our journey’s never done (Am-F)
Through thunderous applause and the critics’ fun (C-G)
We find our silver lines, beneath the setting sun (Am-F)

Chorus: (Am-G-F)
Echoes of silver lines, in the night, they glow (Am-G)
In the heart of the storm, against the undertow (F)
Stars above, in our hearts, they bestow (Am-G)
Echoes of silver lines, in our souls, they grow (F)
