Backstory:

Sardonic Snow is a band that originated from the frosty tundras of Anchorage, Alaska. The band was formed by four high school friends – lead singer and guitarist Ethan Snowflake, drummer Leo Frost, bassist Max Blizzard, and keyboardist Sarah Icicle. They found their shared love for music during their time in the school’s jazz band and decided to create their own sound, focusing on creating music that reflects their icy environment and wry outlook on life.

The band was formed in 2010. Despite the isolating Alaska winters, the group gathered in their parents’ basements, creating music that was as chilling as the Alaskan breeze and as cutting as the sardonic humor they utilized to cope with the harsh environment. Their music became a local phenomenon, and in 2015, they were discovered by a recording executive vacationing in Anchorage, catapulting Sardonic Snow from local legends to international stars.
