Backstory:
Born out from the gritty underground punk scene of Seattle in the late 1990s, Disfigured Prayer is a band that thrives on resonating the unheard voices. The quartet, consisting of lead vocalist Roxanne Hayes, guitarist Billy Thorn, bassist Deacon “Dex” Miller, and drummer Tommy “TNT” Nolan, began as chance acquaintances in a local dive bar, united by their shared dissatisfaction of the mainstream music industry’s commercialization. The band made their debut in 2000 with a series of raucous live shows that quickly caught the attention of the city’s alternative music scene. Known for their relentless energy, sharp lyrics, and darkly provocative performances, Disfigured Prayer’s reputation as a defiant and rebellious act rapidly spread far beyond the confines of their hometown.
