Backstory:

Born in the heart of Los Angeles, California, in 2010, Violet Scholar was brought together by a shared love for music and a yearning to create a unique sound. The band consists of four members: lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Ivy, lead guitarist Jake, drummer Max, and bassist Lila. Ivy, Jake, and Max were college roommates who bonded over jam sessions in their dorm room while Lila, a childhood friend of Ivy’s, joined upon discovering their shared ambition to create music that resonates with people’s hearts.

Their big break came when they were invited to perform at a local music festival, where a chance encounter with a music producer led to their first record deal. The band, now a decade old, has fought through the music industry’s ebb and flow together, always relying on their close-knit bond and mutual passion for music. Their journey is a testament to the power of friendship, resilience, and the undying love for music.

Violet Scholar’s favorite fan is a woman named Sarah. Sarah has been a die-hard Violet Scholar fan since the band’s inception when she stumbled upon their performance at the local music festival.
