Backstory:
Wordy Frequency emerged from the depths of Pennsylvania’s indie music scene, formed by three childhood friends – frontman and lyricist Jimmy “Scribble” Mckinney, guitar virtuoso Danny “Riff” Hernandez, and rhythm king, drummer Tim “Beat” Richardson. The trio shared a mutual fondness for words, poetry, and all manner of frequencies, hence the band’s quirky name. They began their journey by performing at local gigs before their unique fusion of prose and melody caught the attention of indie record label, “Sonic Literature”. They quickly rose through the ranks, achieving both national and international success with their thought-provoking lyrics and melodic chord progressions.
