Backstory:
Unwilling Cellar was founded in 2014 in a small town outside of Chicago, Illinois. The band consists of four members, high school friends turned bandmates. Lead singer, Riley, decided to start a band after discovering a dusty old guitar in her family’s cellar. She was bored and unwilling to clean the cellar, hence the band’s name. Riley recruited her best friends, Noah on bass, Liv on drums, and Caleb on keys, and the band was born. They spent countless hours in that cellar, writing songs and finding their sound, until they eventually broke out onto the local music scene. Their popularity slowly grew as they played in local venues and their music started to spread in the underground scene.
