Backstory:
Glossy Beginning formed in a small coastal town in Oregon where the members met in high school. Their love for music brought them together and they started practicing in their parents’ garages. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Jamie James; bassist, Lily Ford; drummer, Charlie Carter; and keyboard player, Nick Flynn. After playing at local venues and building a strong fan base, they were discovered by a small independent label during a battle of the bands event. Their music drew attention for its unique sound and relatable lyrics, leading to a contract and the start of their professional career. Despite their rapid success, Glossy Beginning remains true to their small-town roots, incorporating their experiences and the serenity of their hometown in their music.
