Backstory:
Fat Boot came together when four high school friends decided to turn their jam sessions into something more serious. The guys – frontman Jack “Boots” Sanders, bassist Victor “Vic” Wallace, drummer Tim “Timbo” Grant, and guitarist Sam “The Edge” Whitley – found a shared love for music and a gift for songwriting. They named their band Fat Boot, a moniker inspired by Jack’s larger than life persona and his signature leather boots.
After graduating high school, they hit the road in a beat-up van, playing gigs in bars and small venues across the country. Their music charmed audiences, leading to an underground following that ultimately helped them land a record deal. They continued to tour, releasing their music and connecting with fans, staying true to their roots and their passion for music.
