Backstory:

Unsteady Youth was formed in 2014 by four high school friends in Portland, Oregon. The band started off as a hobbyist project, playing at small local gigs and school events. The bassist, Zach, and the guitarist, Alex, would jam in their parents’ basements, crafting their unique sound while drummer, Ben, and vocalist, Mike, would write and compose the lyrics. Over time, a strong bond was forged between the four, transforming them from a high school garage band to a group of dedicated musicians. Their sudden rise to fame came after their performance at a local festival in 2016, catching the attention of a talent scout.
